The long and winding road that leads to your door Will never disappear, I've seen that road before. It always leads me here, Lead me to your door. Many times I've been alone, and many times I've cried Anyway, you'll never know the many ways I've tried. Written just before the Beatles’ break up, what is this about? The break up? Unrequited love of a girlfriend? The long road through life with its many twists and turns? The journey to find God beyond the door which separates this mundane life from the spiritual life? Paul Mc. The long and winding road Most of us experience the long, winding road which never seems to become straight. The road is long and winding This is much more positive Take the challenges that the road provides us with and the fear withdraws There is no spiritual growth without challenges The road is long and winding. But we take the challenge. We rise before Fear. E G Cefai

Psalm 23 Whatever path we take, we remember the 23 rd Psalm Then we can journey without fear in the confidence that we will reach the door and it will be opened for us meditation The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want… He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. . . Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Psalm 23
