INTERPRETING THE DATA � religions(LDS and Jehovah's Witnesses) become a 3% minority. � Protestants become a 63% majority. � Catholics went from 3% to 29% � The minority religions locally stayed about the same with a 1% decrease for Buddhism. � Nationally Sikh accounts for less than 0. 5%.
WHAT’S MISSING LOCALLY? � Absent locally were Hindu 0. 7%, Other World Religions 0. 3%, Other Faiths 1. 5%. This was due to an absence of representative buildings within our study area. � Also absent were belief groups that don’t generally have buildings and aren’t widely considered religions: Unaffiliated "nones“ 22. 8%, Atheist 3. 1%, Agnostic 4. 0%, Nothing in particular 15. 8%, Don't know 0. 6%.

AL RASOOL SERVICES � � � Daily 5 corporate prayers are held at prescribed solar event times. Emsak-pre-dawn, Fajrdawn, Shurouq –sun-up, Dhohr- noon, Magrib and Eftar- sunset. Women are asked to wear a hijab and pray separately Islamic Basics Course- a twelve week once a week class open to those willing to learn. AL RASOOL AND THE COMMUNITY � Al Rasool supports interfaith as part of the larger Al Rasool movement working with the Alavi Foundation and ISNA. � Sponsors the SLAM multicultural events and refugee assistance. � Al Rasool supports Islamic unity events like Eid and Ashura events.

RELIGIOUS DIVERSITY LOCALLY � Diversity is present and has been increasing in presence and numbers. � Pluralism is still a challenge with much diversity being new and many minority religions and majority religions keeping to themselves on major social issues and only ceremoniously uniting a few times a year.
