The Life of the Tallest Girl This is the life of a tall girl named Olivia. She’s going to share all the good and bad things about being tall. By. Danita Talitha Zahara

Dedication To all my friends who are tall.

Hi! My name is Olivia, and I am in 6 th grader. Although you might be fooled by my height thinking that I am a 9 th grader, but it is true! Some people might think that being tall is really nice, because you get to ride all of the roller coasters in theme park, it is true! But there also things that make being tall not as pleasant as you thought. These are the reasons why:

Your friends are shorter than you so you stand out in the group. You can’t fit the desks which makes it uncomfortable.

Sometimes your clothes don’t fit. Even if you just bought them.

The bed is often too short. So, you have to add an extension so your feet doesn’t just hang in the mid air. The blanket doesn’t cover our whole body because it isn’t long enough.

The bathtub isn’t long enough. So you cant really enjoy bubble baths.

In Ballet classes you can’t be as graceful as the other ballerinas. And usually you disturb other ballerinas while practicing.

It causes the other ballerinas to dislike you. So you are often left out in the group of ballerinas. Because of this, you become more insecure about yourself and your height.

Your friends can’t whisper into your ear because your too tall. And your friends have to look up when they want to talk to you in the face.

But when it comes to a sports competition, there are some perks to being tall.

In soccer my role is being the goal keeper. I get to catch the ball in different directions even the furthest.

In basketball the opponents will have a hard time getting the ball from you. Throwing the ball in the hoop is a lot easier as well.

In a marathon you get to run faster than other opponents because your legs are much longer.

In high jumps you get to jump the highest. In long jumps you get to jump the furthest.

In the end, you relize no one is perfect. You just have to like the way you are. If someone doesn’t like the way you are, then your better of without them.
