The life of the Krishna’s consciousness Society in Moscow Report from the practice (summer 2008) 3 rd By Kaykova Maria, course student, RSC, RSUH
Why did I choose this topic? I did so because The Krishnas appeared to be the most friendly ones in my last summer practice… They also gave much useful information about their Society in Moscow.
The main problem is… the observation of Krishna’s community’s adoption and adaptation in Moscow.
The plenty of questions… …in the introduction corresponds to number of chapters…
The main body of work… is concerned to description of all aspects of their life…
Of course… I should say, for example, about Indian treasures and establishments on Russian ‘ground’.
I divided my work into two parts Where I try to tell you about…
The first part … the birth, development and first years of Society of the Krishna’s Consciousness… Bhaktivedanta Svami Prabhupada – The Russian community’s founder (1971)…
The second part …and the contemporary life of the community… …and his statue in the Krishna’s temple (near the‘Dinamo’ metro station)
Drawing to a conclusion I tried to answer the questions asked above. So, I tracked the continuity line in the doctrine transfer and did almost the same but concerned to living in Moscow. P. S. As it was practice work I tried to write it using the proper information from that only practice.
