The Leader Habit- Intro • We generally don’t think of leadership as a habit, but yet we have habitual patterns of leadership, some are great, others not, and most of them are underdeveloped. • How we get things done at work, and how we manage people, is the result of habits – and those habits can be purposefully changed. • Martin Lanik the author of THE LEADER HABIT: Master the Skills You Need to Lead in Just Minutes a Day, shows you how to develop key leadership skills through simple, daily exercises.

The Leader Habit- Intro • How does a behavior become automatic? – Share Examples of Automatic Behavior • What was something you learned that was really hard – What did you do to learn it – What were you thinking as your learned it • Name a hobby, sport or activity that you are passionate about – The “Flow”
