THE LAW OF FAITH (Part 1)

Introduction §Faith is one of the most talked about principles in the kingdom of God. §When we study faith in the Word of God, we find many truths. §Similarly, there are many misconceptions about what faith in God actually means.

Faith is a law. It is an established principle in God’s Word. It is God’s system of operation; His way of living.

Why is Faith Important? We are saved by faith – Eph. 2: 8. 2. It gives substance to our hope – Heb. 11: 1. 3. We please God by faith – Heb. 11: 6. 4. Without faith, our prayers won’t work – Mark 11: 24; James 1: 6 -7; 5: 15 -16. 1.

Why is Faith Important? We live by faith – Hab. 2: 4; Rom. 1: 17; Gal. 3: 11; Heb. 10: 38. 6. We are kept (protected) by faith – 1 Pet. 1: 5. 7. We walk by faith – 2 Cor. 5: 7. 8. We win by faith – 1 John 5: 4. 5.

9. Anything that is not of faith is sin – Rom. 14: 23.

Faith Facts 1. Faith is rooted in the Word of God. 2. Faith in God comes by hearing the Word of God (Rom. 10: 17). It is not a one time deal, but continual. You’ve got to stay exposed to the Word.

Conclusion § Faith is vitally important in our walk with God. a. Faith is one of the key determinants of whether we succeed or fail in pursuit of our God given vision(s) in life. b. God is a faith God and He responds to faith.

As a child of God, you have access to His faith. In fact, you have the measure of God’s faith right on your inside! Believe it, cultivate it and NOTHING shall be impossible to you.

Confession I am a believer not a doubter. I have faith in God. I have God’s faith on my inside. I am not moved by what I see. I am not moved by what I feel. I am always moved by what I believe God and I believe His Word. From this day forward, my thoughts, words and actions shall be faith based and controlled in Jesus’ name. I am a winner!!
