CAN WE KNOW WHEN THESE PROPHETIC EVENTS WILL OCCUR? “ BUT ABOUT THAT DAY OR HOUR NO ONE KNOWS, NOT EVEN THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN, NOR THE SON, BUT ONLY THE FATHER. ” (MT. 24: 36). COMMENT: The subject of discussion here is not the Rapture or Tribulation but the 2 nd Coming. The inference is that no one can know the day or hour because it will probably be on a future day of the Feast of Trumpets which is a 2 -day feast, therefore Christ may be required by the Father to appear on either day at any hour. BUT REGARDING ENDTIME EVENTS, CHRIST SAYS WE MAY KNOW: John 14: 29 King James Version (KJV) And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. WE ARE THE FIG TREE GENERATION • 32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. (including His Coming) (Mt. 24: 32 -34) • The prophets Hosea and Joel referred to Israel as “the fig tree”. (Joel 1: 7; Hosea 9: 10). Mt. 24: 32 -34, above, is the Hallmark Prophecy of Christ’s return. It tells us [1] when its branch is tender, i. e. , when Israel is reestablished as a nation, and [2] puts forth its leaves, i. e. , when it prospers, [3] you know that summer is near, i. e. , it has planted to harvest. Jesus says, your generation will not pass until they see ALL these things come to pass, including His Coming. Remember, He was answering their question in Mt. 24: 3 (KJV) : “ 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? Jesus said the generation that sees these things will see My Coming!!! Israel reestablished 5/15/1948 (6 Lyyar 5708) x 70 -360 day yrs. = 25, 200 days +26 Heb. Calendar days (1 Nisan-6 Lyyar 5708) = 25, 226 days/365 Gregorian days/yr= The Hebrew Year 5777. 11= 2017 (Gregorian Calendar). The last day of 2017 on the Hebrew Calendar is 29 Elul 5777 = September 20 th, 2017. The generation prophecy to see Jesus’ Coming will expire on that day. September 21 -22 is Tishrei 1 and 2, 5778, respectively, the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah), and by ALL INDICATIONS, “the last trump”, that is, the last Feast of Trumpets. Each day begins at Sundown and goes to Sundown of the following day. By my calculations, THE RAPTURE SHOULD OCCUR in the 1 st phase of the new moon on Tishrei 1, September 21, 2017, only hours away from the manifestation of THE REVELATION 12 SIGN. From the Beginning of Sorrows to the Consummation of the age, according to Daniel, will be 2550 days. Counting back 3. 5 years from the commencement of the Great Tribulation (Rev. 6: 12), then forward 2550 Hebrew days (7. 08=7 Hebrew years), the Consummation of The Age and the return of Christ should be 9/13 -14/2024, on the Day of Atonement. The Feast of Tabernacles (Ingathering) will follow 4 days later. After counting back 2550 days from this date brings us to the day of the 1 st Rapture on 9/21/2017 on 1 Tishrei, the Feast of Trumpets, exactly to the day. All of this provided that we accept the currently accepted figure of 70 years as the length of one generation, according to the Bible. When we consider that the Revelation 12 Sign is a manifestation and testimony to those believers and unbelievers left behind that the body of Christ has been “birthed” into Heaven, the implication is that the sign is a witness to all remaining behind that The First Rapture has occurred. The Remnant body of Christ will not be around to witness it from the earth.
