The Laboratory for Imaging Algorithms and Systems Research Program • The LIAS will conduct R&D in algorithm and systems development in partnership with sponsors for their application requirements. General LIAS architecture R&D is sharable with all sponsors. – Pre-Buy: Sponsor pre-buys a minimum number of research hours per year » Enables the LIAS to maintain a core staff » Pre-buy sponsors will be priority customers – Directed Project: Sponsor requests support on single project or problem » Work will be performed as resources allow – Proposal Teaming: RIT will participate in joint proposals that are strategic to the LIAS RIT Rochester Institute of Technology
