The Flag of Tonga The white on their flag stands for purity, the red represents the blood jesus shed at his crucifixion. The red cross represents their Christianity. Tonga used the same flag as the red cross organization, so they changed it to avoid confusion. The flag of Tonga was created on the fourth of November 1875.
