The ‘Jurassic Park’ Franchise – Which was the more successful film? The Jurassic Park

The ‘Jurassic Park’ Franchise – Which was the more successful film? The Jurassic Park film franchise currently consists of 4 films, with an unnamed 5 th film in the franchise coming on June 22, 2018 and as of September 2015, a 6 th is being planned with no official release date. Jurassic World was the most successful in terms of how much it made at the box office and the budget spent on making the film. In addition to this, the film is the third highest-grossing film of all time, as well as being the highest grossing film of 2015. However, even though Jurassic World had a higher budget and made more at the box office, the first Jurassic Park is the most successful due to it having a higher budget box office ratio of 16. 3, while the most recent one of the franchise, Jurassic World, had a ratio of 11. 1. This was because Jurassic World had a much higher budget, whereas the first Jurassic Park had the lowest budget of the franchise.

Who is the target audience for the film ‘Jurassic Park’? One of the main types of people the target audience is, are people who have read the book the film is based on. The people who have read the book will want to go and watch the film to either see how to the film differs from the book since when reading the book, the reader uses his/her own imagination to envision what the story is telling, whereas when watching a film based on the book, it is based on the imagination of the director when they read the book, so the viewer sees it from how the director imagined the book and there isn’t much imagination that the viewer needs to have because the film visually shows them what the book is describing. The main target audience for Jurassic Park is males, due to what the film is about. While the film does contain some scary scenes that someone young would find scary (i. e. when the T-Rex attacks the car), the film does mostly appeal to a male audience.

Why is the film aimed more toward a male audience rather than a female

Why is the film aimed more toward a male audience rather than a female audience? Jurassic Park is instantly shown to be aimed more towards a male audience, particularly boys, because the main focus of the film is dinosaurs, and boys are viewed as more into dinosaurs than girls are. This is due to male audiences being more focused on films with action in them. Looking at the genre differences between genders and the genres that Jurassic Park consists of, it shows that two of the three genres (adventure & Sci-Fi) are more appealing to male audiences. However, the third (thriller) is more preferred by female audiences than males, but due to two of the three genres being in favour of male audiences, it is safe to say that Jurassic Park appeals more to male audiences. A majority of the poster designs for the film only consist of the dinosaurs and a background of various prehistoriclooking locations.
