PARTNER ACTIVITY: WHAT DO THE ENDOCRINE ORGANS DO? Instructions: Using your textbook or other resource, match the endocrine organ with its general description. Estimated Time: 8 -10 minutes 1. pineal gland a. Sits near base of the brain; secretes hormones regulating homeostasis; it is functionally connected to the hypothalamus. 2. adrenal glands b.
