The Holy Spirit has his own mind & prays for us! Romans 8: 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

The Holy Spirit has emotions Ephesians 4: 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

The Holy Spirit has his own desires & will 1 Corinthians 12: 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, . . . just as he determines.

Omnipotent. . . ‘all powerful’ Omnipresent. . . ‘everywhere present’ Omniscient. . . ‘all knowing’

. . . if He is present in you. . . what things should be a part of your life?

. . . if He is present in you. . . what things should be a part of your life? And if they’re not?

. . . if He is present in you. . . what things should be a part of your life? And if they’re not. . . ASK GOD!!

He helps us to speak Mark 13: 11 Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

He teaches & reminds us Psalm 143: 10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

He empowers us to witness to others. . . & draws us closer to God Acts 1: 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. ” Romans 8: 26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

He empowers us to put sin to death in us & be free! Romans 8: 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death

Having him means we are God’s children & have access to intimacy with Him Romans 8: 15 -16 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father. ” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

He convicts all people of sin John 16: 7 -11 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: about sin, because people do not believe in me; about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.

The Spirit brings us life & freedom Romans 8: 10 -11 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

He gives hope & that hope gives us joy & peace Romans 15: 13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

He is in us so we can serve 1 Corinthians 12: 7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good

Him in us means we have access to great growth The Spirit is our sanctifier 2 Corinthians 3: 18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with everincreasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. Galatians 5: 22 -23
