The first permanent photograph was an image produced in 1826 by the French inventor Joseph. Nicéphore Niepce. The image was created on a zinc plate coated with asphalt Syrian. Its production required an eight-hour exposure on a sunny day. Bitumen hardens upon exposure to light. The uncured material can be washed away lavender oil, obtained in this way can be painted negative lithographic and imprinted on paper to print.
