What is BUILD? Goal: Foster and expand meaningful partnerships among health systems, community-based organizations, and local health departments to identify and address the complex, upstream problems that influence the overall health of local residents
The Harris County BUILD Partnership Mission: Eliminate the conditions that cause food insecurity in north Pasadena PRODUCTION Establish a sustainable public source of accessible healthy food in North Pasadena DISTRIBUTION Food Rx Develop an expanded local network of innovative healthy food suppliers and distributors in north Pasadena CONSUMPTION Develop a coordinated system of programs to help residents access food and make healthy choices

Food Rx Program 2 1 Client Schedules an Appointment-Client is prescreened for zip code eligibility. Client arrives for appointment –issued eligibility screener. Food Rx Process 6 Client begins to redeem at our Food Rx pantry 5 Once all the documents have been collected. A participant ID and Food Rx is given to the client. 3 If eligible, Client meets with clinic staff to discuss program. 4 If the client decided to participate, they are given information about the program and a form to sign.
