SAMPLE BODY PARAGRAPH Night proves the quote false because in Night, most wrong actions

SAMPLE BODY PARAGRAPH Night proves the quote false because in Night, most wrong actions do not have good intentions behind them. The book is set in World War II. The characters Eliezer and his father are abused by everyone they encounter in the concentration camp. One example of this is the guard who puts a young child to death. After the public hanging, the prisoners are forced to look at the dead bodies. Eliezer is disgusted at both the meaningless death and the way the prisoners are forced to bear witness to that death. It is brutal all around; there is not good there. A second example of true evil in the camp is the guard who beats Eliezer’s father. He is motivated by greed because he wants Eliezer’s gold tooth (or his gold crown). He continues to beat Eliezer’s father until Eliezer allows a dentist to pull his gold tooth. Both guards are ruthless and have a troubling disregard for human life. There is no good in either of them.
