Technical assistance REGION BASED § Development of guidelines/training material § Adaptation of guidelines to CIS context § Development of specific guidelines when necessary § Workshops for introducing cost-effective methodologies COUNTRY BASED § TA to target countries
Training REGION BASED § Using existing regional training centers § Answering to specific needs of the region as well COUNTRY BASED § On-the-job training in target countries
Research GLOBAL LEVEL § Answering global needs in terms of cost-effective methodologies § Research results = direct inputs for guidelines, training material REGIONAL BASED § No activities funded through the Trust Fund § However specific needs may be addressed and coordination needed with Global level § Research activities funded out of the Global trust Fund may be coordinated within GS umbrella
