Facility *The Heart Hospital is about 140, 000 square feet. *It consists of a 4 -story patient tower connected to a 2 -story diagnostic & treatment building.

Board of Directors *The Board of directors consists of 9 members including 4 physicians, elected by the physician investors, 4 CMC Board representatives & the FHH CEO appointed by the Chief Executive office of Community Medical Centers.
Background *48 physicians own 49% of the Heart Hospital, and Community Medical Centers own 51% of the Heart Hospital. *The Fresno Heart Hospital opened at a critical time pf population growth & medical need. Heart disease hit’s the hardest after age 45 & remains the leading cause of death in Fresno County.
