Courageous Conversations is the utilization of the Four Agreements, Six Conditions and Compass in order to engage, sustain and deepen internalized, intra-racial, and inter-racial dialogue about race, racial identity and institutionalized racism; and is an essential foundation for examining schooling and improving student achievement. • What about our norms we created last year? The norms we created fall into the umbrella of the four agreements. • Purpose/Rationale To understand the compass and the four agreements of Courageous Conversations. We need to feel comfortable and safe to speak.
