1. What is resolution & application? ▫ It is about applying biblical principles to my personal life. ▫ Use 4 P of Application.
4 Principles of Application (4 P) 1) Personal § Use “I” instead of “we. ” § Don’t think and write what others and church should do. § “we” ‘our Church” “my spouse”? § Start from “I will ……”
2) Practical § Things, time, person and detail content to apply § General and impractical application will not bring any transformation. § “I will serve the church” “ I will love God more” ‘I repent” These expressions are not practical application. § “I will talk to my coworker, John, who had verbal conflict last week to ask forgiveness on next Monday. ”
3) Possible § Something you can do right away after my QT § Things I have been delaying although I can do them. Decision to do what you possibly cannot do means that you won’t do it. § Don’t postpone your application and practice right away § “… I will ask the person to have lunch. ”
