THE FIRMAMENT The warp and woof of space and time
Before God existed n Properties of absolute nothing No place n No time n No power n No knowledge n I. e. , no existence n
The Inverse of Nothing Omnipresence n Eternal n Omnipotent n Omniscient n Absolute existence n n I AM THAT I AM of Exodus 3: 14
God’s Goal for Creation Rom 9: 22 -24 — What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
Properties of God n Love n n Light (a consuming fire) n n 1 John 1: 16 1 John 1: 5; (Deuteronomy 4: 24) A plenum n Omnipotent & omnipresent
God is Light n n Knowledge Communication Intelligence Revelation n n The way, the truth & the life (John 14: 6) Infinite heat (energy)
God’s Dilemma To accomplish his goal, God had to create an environment that was shielded from his light and heat. He has to make a space for man, and allot some time to him.
God’s Solution n n Create light Create the Firmament n Looks & acts like a plenum
Day 1: Light n Would have similar properties to God’s eternal, uncreated light n n Light does not seem to decay Has no twist n n momentum equally divided between its motion and its rotation Everything except light must move in a helix
Day 2: The Firmament n n A created plenum Made of grains, called Planck Particles n n n Diameter = 1. 62 x 10 -33 cm Mass = 1. 42 x 10 -5 gm Charge = 10 q 0 Surface temperature = 1. 42 x 1032 K Density = 5. 16 x 1093 times water Since it’s not light, it moves as a helix
