ACE INHIBITORS DRUG CLASS INFORMATION Any of a group of antihypertensive drugs that relax arteries and promote renal excretion of salt and water by inhibiting the activity of an angiotensin converting enzyme. Reduces vasculature resistance without increasing cardiac output, rate or contractility.
