My situatedness ---Why I do the research n A psyhodramatist in psychodrama, double can help the protagnist to move forward in inner experience, and there is concret operation about the double
Double n n An element in psychodrama Double is the protagnist’s(client) another “I” stand beside the protagnist, to imitate the protagnist’s body gesture, to feel to voice for the protagnist’s (bodily)feelings, to express the pragnist nknown, chaotic unexpreseed (bodily)feelings、thoughts
Double n Through double’s help. the protagnist always can experience their inner experience, even existentional situatedness, and move forward
The aim of the research n This study aims at revealing the experiential structure of doubling in psychodrama using a phenomenological method. --- what does the protagnist move in inner experience through the double’s help? ---how and what does the double help the protagnist move forward? ----what is the experiential structure of doubling?
Research setting--double training workshop a doubling scene n n The doubling scene included the protagonist(He/She suffered from interpersonal issue) , the auxliliary(He/She played the role of the person whom the protagonist felt to have the interpersonal issue with ),
Research setting--double training workshop a doubling scene n n the double(He/She sat beside the protagonist, and He/She behaved as the protagnist and tried to feel and say what the protagonist felt ). The director facilitated verbal dialogue between the protagonist, the auxiliary and the double. And the dialogue lasted for 3060 miniutes.
Research materail & analysis n n . The researcher collected the verbatim about the dialogue and collected the experience- describing of the double and the protagnist Phenomenological analysis(Lee, 2004) was applied to the verbatim

Research pariticipants n six participants with the interpersonal issues were chosen and were invited to be the psychodrama protagnists. And five auxliliaries and five doubles were invited to attend psychodrama workshop.

the protagnist ’s story n The protagnist studied in her graduate program. And she found that her senior colleague in the same lab copied her proposal of thesis. She was very angry, hurt, and didn’t know how to get along with her senior colleague and how to protect herself
the move of protagnist ’s situatedness n n Lee(2004) use the concepts of Husserl 、 Heidegger, Giorgi(1985) to develop the notion of “situatedness” which is applied to psychotherapy process research analysis situatedness:the most image of being-in-the world and the structual relevance among the situated contexts

You are a good girl, I feel I am really sorry for you. double:Your hand press on me, press my angry. Actually I want to mad at her, but my hand presss me all the time.

So I use your proposal materials. use your subjects, use your proposal, use your thesis. And use what you have told me abour thesis. T hen I can graduate from the program ealrlier. protagnist:I will not help you any more.

the move of protagnist ’s situatedness n The auxiliary keep saying that she can’t help copying the protagnist’thesis,human and the world are selfish, you are kind to help me, and you can’t do anything with me The protagnist cried, felt angry, hurt, but can’t do anything,blamed herself not to be so smart as her senior colleague
the move of protagnist ’s situatedness n The double tried to blame the auxiliary, you are so bad, you are disgusting. . and say”I seem not to say my angry to her”but the protagnist didn’t respond to he double ,
the move of protagnist ’s situatedness n The auxiliary kept saying the world was selfish, the protagnist Still cried, angy, but can’t voice her angry, the double saw the protagnist’s hand keep pressing on her another hand, the double said”I just can do this, to press on my hand, but I dared not to be angry at her”,
the move of protagnist ’s situatedness n the protagnist agreed what the Double said, then the auxliiary said that “yes, you dared not to do anything with me”, ”I just wanted to bully you”. then The protagnist said”I will not Help you” Even the auxiliary kept Saying “you can’t do anything with you”.
the move of protagnist ’s situatedness n the double sitted beside the protagnsit to support the protagnist , ”I see her clearly””we can protect oursleves””we will not be taken advantage by her”. even the auxiliary kept Saying “you can’t do anything with you”the protagnist build the wall to the auxiliary to protect herslef.
the move of protagnist ’s situatedness n The auliliary saw the protagist change her mind , the auxliliary kept attacking the protagnist again, and plicated the protaganist too. but the protagnsit can be spontaneous to deal with the auxliliary,. .
the move of protagnist ’s situatedness n The auxliliary said that”it’s no use seeing me clearly, you are so kind, you dare not to be angry at me”” people think I am lovely, they will not believe what you said about me”, ”I am angel”, the protagnist said” I will not believe in you”, ”I will protect myslef ””yes, you are shit angel”. .
the move of protagnist ’s situatedness n The double just support the protagnist , and echo what theprotagnsit said. The protagnist feel more confirmed that she can protect herself, and she can’t be iritated be the auxliliary.

Conclusion n the doubles(who followed the context of these dialogues between the protagonist , the double, the auxiliary ) , use his body, to feel, to experience the protagnist’s inner experiecne, helped the protagnists to say out what they were experiencing and helped them to keep experiencing himself and follow the flow the experience(Gendlin,1974). the doulbe then facilitate the protagnist’s“ situatedness “move.
Conclusion n The finding is in accordance with the notion of Merleau-Ponty’s embodied being. Through the dialogue between auxiliary, protagnist, in the space and time, the double use his body to reach the protagnist embodied being and help the protagnist to be aware of his
Conclusion n n situatedness”, then the protagnist move forward in his inner expereiece. What is follow the client? the embodied being is the key element.
