Who Invented Apple and the Start of Apple’s Laptops Apple was founded on April 1 st, 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and the less famous Ronald Wayne (who left 12 days after they formed). The first ever laptop Apple released was in 1989 and the first portable laptop they made was the Macintosh Portable. This laptop was difficult to transport because of it’s size and weight. This is why Apple made the Power. Book lineup 2 years after the creation of the Macintosh Portable.
