“Apostasy & The Last Generation” Deuteronomy 29: 22 1. These are the words of the Covenant which God commanded Moses to make with the Israelites in the land of Moab, besides the Covenant which He made with them in Horeb. 2. And Moses called to all Israel & said to them, You have seen all that the Lord did before your eyes in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh & to all his servants & to all his land; 3. The great temptations which your eyes have seen: the signs, & those great miracles:

4. Yet the Lord has not given you a heart to perceive & eyes to see & ears to hear unto this day. 5. And I led you 40 years in the wilderness: your clothes did not wax old on you & your shoe did not wax old on your foot. 6. You haven’t eaten bread or drunk wine or strong drink: that you might know that I am (Yehovah) the Lord your God.

Israel’s Land Inheritance 7. And when you came to this place Sihon, King of Heshbon, & Og, King of Bashan, came out against us to battle, and we smote them: 8. And we took their land & gave it for an inheritance to the Reubenites & to the Gadites & to ½ tribe of Manasseh.

You stand this day - all of you before the Lord your God; your captains of your tribes, your elders, your officers, with all Israel’s men, 11. 12. That you should enter into covenant with the Lord your God & into His oath, which the Lord God makes with you this day. 13. That He may establish you today for a people unto Himself & that He may be unto you a God, as He has said to you, & as He has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, & to Jacob. Covenant God Keeps His Promises! 14. Neither with you only do I make this covenant & this oath but with him that stands here with us this day 15. before the Lord our God, & also with him that is not here with us this day.

Idolatry = Mixture 16 For you know how we have dwelt 17 in the land of Egypt; & how we came through the nations which you passed by); 17 And you have seen their abominations & their idols of wood & stone, silver & gold, which were among them: 18 Lest there should be among you any man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turns away this day from the Lord our God, to go & serve the gods of these nations; (Jeremiah 9: 15; Revelation 8: 11) lest there should be among you a root that bears gall & wormwood;

19 And it come to pass, when he hears the words of this curse (allah), that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: 20 The Lord won’t spare him, but then the anger of the Lord and His jealousy shall smoke against that man, & all the curses (allah) that are written in this book shall lie on him. Rev. 22: 18 the Lord shall blot out his name from under heaven. Exodus 32: 33, Revelation 3: 5; 22: 19 21 And the Lord shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses (allah) of the Covenant that are written in this book of the Law: (Torah)

24 Even all nations shall say, Why has the Lord done thus to this land? What means the heat of this great anger? 25 Then men shall say, because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord God of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them forth out of the land of Egypt: 26 For they went & served other gods & worshipped them; gods whom they knew not, and whom He had not given to them Idolatry leads to Apostasy

27 And the anger of the Lord was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses (allah) that are written in this book: 28 the Lord rooted them out of their land in anger & in wrath & in great indignation, & cast them into another land, as it is this day. 29 The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong to us & to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this Law.

So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you & the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues (makkah) of that land & the sicknesses (tachalah) which the Lord has laid upon it (chalah) *22. 23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone & salt & burning:

Paul calls Apostasy an End Time Sign Now we beseech you brethren, by the Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together to Him, that you be not shaken in mind, neither by spirit, End nor by word, nor by letter as from us, that the Day of the Lord is at hand. Apostacy Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come, except there be a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all this is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the Temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
