• Novak Djokovic (Nole) was born on 22 May 1987 in Belgrade, SR Serbia, Yugoslavia, to parents Srđan and Dijana. • He is of paternal Serbian and maternal Croatian descent. His two younger brothers, Marko and Djordje, have also played professional tennis. • Djokovic's roots are in Croatia. Although Novak's father pulls their genes, he does not support the conflicts that Serbia and Croatia had. ("Ugly things have happened between our peoples in the past, but we have to go forward, we cannot spend our whole lives in hatred of each other, " Srdjan Djokovic said in an interview conducted at the Novak restaurant in Belgrade. ) • Djokovic began playing tennis at the age of four. In the summer of 1993, the six-year-old was spotted by Yugoslav tennis player. Jelena Genčić at Mount Kopaonik, where Djokovic's parents ran a fast-food parlour. Upon seeing the child Djokovic playing tennis, she stated: "This is the greatest talent I have seen since Monica Seles. • Genčić worked with young Djokovic over the following six years before realizing that, due to his rapid development, going abroad in search of increased level of competition was the best option for his future. To that end, she contacted Nikola Pilić and in September 1999 the 12 -year-old moved to the Pilić tennis academy in Oberschleißheim, Germany, spending four years there. In 2001 , at 14 , he began his international career.
PERSONAL LIFE OF NOVAK • He met his future wife, Jelena Ristić, in high school, and began dating her in 2005. • The two became engaged in September 2013, and on 10 July 2014 the couple got married on Sveti Stefan in Montenegro, while a church wedding was held in the same place, on 12 July 2014, in the Church of Saint Stephen which belongs to Praskvica Monastery. • On 24 April 2014, Djokovic announced that he and Ristić were expecting their first child. Their son, Stefan, was born on 21 October 2014 in Nice, France. Their daughter, Tara, was born on 2 September 2017.
ALL THE GOOD THINGS NOVAK DID • All over the foundation is his wife and she runs the business. • The Novak Djokovic Foundation has invested more than 32. 5 million dinars in the renovation of the old building of the Health Center in Macvanski Prnjavor in the kindergarten opened today in the preschool institution "Our child" from Sabac. • € 700, 000 for the renovation of 20 kindergartens. • Novak Djokovic officially opened the first in a series of "School of Life" in the village of Kadina Luka, the goal is to open up such institutions in as many undeveloped municipalities as possible, where a large part of childhood will be spent by toddlers who do not have pre-school facilities available. • We donated more than eight million dinars for the renovation of the"Pinokio Puppet" Theater. • One doesn't know the number of good things that Novak has done and continues to do.
• Novak Djokovic is the best Serbian tennis player of all time and one of the best tennis players of all time. • On the National Day of Republika Srpska, Novak was awarded the Order of the Star of Karadjordje. He received the Laureus Academy Award, which is considered the most prestigious award in the world of sports. • Novak was selected in a competition made up of Usain Bolt and Lionel Messi. • Novak is definitely the kindest person in the family. There is a snippet of the interview confirming this. "When NATO destroyed my country without a legal basis in 1999, I was a kid. I vowed then that I would conquer that same world in my own way. And here I am today. That destruction did not destroy me, nor did my people. We are not broken spirit, we are still joyful despite the problems. It's a win. "
