The Delta Center Grant: NM PCA & NM BHPA Partnership The New Mexico Primary Care Association and the New Mexico Behavioral Health Providers’ Association were jointly awarded a 2 -year grant by the Delta Center for a Thriving Safety Net, led by Jon Snow, Inc. in collaboration with the Mac. Coll Center for Healthcare Innovation at Kaiser Research Center and supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. This grant encourages recipients to look at value based care and integration through a behavioral health lens.

Delta Center Goals & Objectives v Provide technical assistance to state primary care associations & behavioral health associations to build a stronger safety net. v Inspires innovation and change in valuebased care and payment, through the transformation of both policy and practice.

New Mexico Primary Care Association & New Mexico Behavioral Health Providers’ Association partnership efforts will include: Sponsoring statewide and rural convening/trainings Policy and regulation advocacy Building cultural understanding of integrated care Development of cost effective services resulting in positive outcomes Support the expansion of valuebased payment contracting
