The Communities Partnership Aims and objectives Aim The aim of combined people and communities partnership is to ensure that people and communities can thrive using the outcomes below: • Their basic needs are met • They feel and are safe and secure • They have a feeling of belonging • They have a feeling of worth • They have opportunities to fulfil their potential Objectives The partnership will identify and respond to the key risks preventing people and communities from thriving Working and engaging with communities, the partnership will build a collective response to these key risks through building community resilience and capacity

Proposed place-based priorities Oakley Partnership activity to encourage better engagement between agencies and local residents. Oakley, St Pauls, Hesters Way and Springbank Partnership activity to reduce the risks of vulnerable young people engaging in risky behaviour (inc anti-social behaviour) and getting drawn into other criminal activity The Moors Partnership activity to reduce the risks associated with incidences of organised crime in the area Rowanfield, St Marks and Monkscroft Partnership activity to reduce the incidences of domestic abuse and the risks associated with dangerous drug networks
