The command words are used in the Exam and Course Assessment to enable you to understand what information you are required to write about. Each word is looking for you to provide particular information in a particular way. The Command words are: Describe Explain Evaluate Analyse

DESCRIBE This command word is asking you to paint a picture or provide a

DESCRIBE This command word is asking you to paint a picture or provide a commentary for someone who has not seen your performance, method to gather data, approach you have selected or monitoring/evaluation method. For example: Continuous training is when you do non-stop exercise for a sustained period of time with no rest. The questionnaire I used had 10 statements based on how well we worked as a group.
