Welcome to St. Peter! We begin a 9 week summer worship series, “The Christian Faith, One Word at a Time” in our services this weekend. Over the next number of weeks we will consider important spiritual, faith building words from the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Romans. We begin with the word “Atonement”. May the good news that Jesus has atoned for all of your sins so you can have life with God bring you true peace and lasting comfort!

Prayer before Worship Lord Jesus, how can I ever thank you for atoning for my sins by your suffering and death in my place? Please accept my worship. Drive away my doubts and fears. Touch my heart with your love and make me strong to do your will and to honor you by the way I live my life. Amen.

OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, we express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of St. Peter or members of the WELS/ELS. Visitors who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.
