Admission to The Sixth Form • To enter our Sixth Form candidates need to achieve: – 38 points over their best 8 GCSEs – This is equivalent to 4 x 4 s, 2 x 5 s and 2 x 6 s – Grade 4 or above in GCSE English (Language or Literature) and GCSE Maths (as part of, or additional to, best 8 GCSE grades) – There are some subject specific entry requirements (see subject details booklet)

What happens once an application has been made? • Deadline for applications: 3 rd February 2020 • All internal applicants receive a Guidance Meeting with a member of staff • We are usually able to offer a conditional place to all applicants who apply by 3 rd February. • Confirmation of an offer of a place: End of Term 4 • You can apply for 4 subjects if you are unsure of which subjects to take.
