The Atoms Family

This is a story about a place called Matterville. Everything in Matterville has mass and takes up space.

All of Matterville is made up of this family called the Atom Family.

In the center of Matterville there was a place called The Nucleus Arcade. Two members of the Atoms family like to hang out there.

The first member is Perky Pat Proton. She is always happy and has a very positive personality.

The second member of the Atoms Family is Nerdy Nelda Neutron. She is very apathetic and doesn’t have an opinion about anything. In fact she’s neutral about everything.

Pat and Nelda spend all of their time at the Nucleus Arcade. The Nucleus Arcade is so cool and full of energy that they would never leave.

Around the Nucleus Arcade, there is a series of roadways that are used by another member of the Atoms Family, Enraged Elliot Electron.

Elliot the Electron is much smaller in mass than Pat the Proton and Nelda the Neutron.

Elliot is always angry because his bigger relatives will not let him in the arcade. He has a very negative personality.

There are many road ways in Elliot’s Electron Cloud.

The first road is closest to the Nucleus Arcade and it can hold only two electrons (Elliot and one of his brothers

• The second road can hold eight electrons

• The third can hold up to 18 of the electron brothers.

The morale in Matterville is stable as long as each Elliot is balanced with one Pat Proton
