Leicestershire & Rutland Cricket League Umpires Policy L & R Cricket Leagues Umpire Proposal for the 2014 Season • Divisions 4 onwards East/West • Here things are a little more fluid. It is proposed that the Appointments Officer(s) compiles a panel of about 10 umpires from what were SL or LL umpires who want to be considered for promotion to higher divisions. • These umpires could then be appointed by the Appointments Officer(s) to some games in Division 3. • At the end of the season the Division 3 marks to be compared with the view to selecting the Division 3 panel for the following season.
