+ Portfolio n An artist's portfolio is an edited collection of their best artwork

+ Portfolio n An artist's portfolio is an edited collection of their best artwork intended to showcase an artist's style or method of work. A portfolio is used by artists to show employers their versatility by showing different samples of current work. n YOU will be making your own portfolio to hold your artwork in. So what will you need?

+ Poster board n I got you covered. Part of your student fee went

+ Poster board n I got you covered. Part of your student fee went to the poster board needed for this project. n We will be using white poster board, so your design will stand out. All the artwork you do, will be no bigger than your portfolio.

+ Duct Tape n With all of the colors and patterns out there (even

+ Duct Tape n With all of the colors and patterns out there (even BACON!) you should be able to find something that fits your personality. n YOU will have to purchase your own so you can get exactly what you want.

+ OR Yarn n I will let that be up to you if you

+ Pencil and Markers n There is a “slick/smooth” side of the poster board

+ Pencil and Markers n There is a “slick/smooth” side of the poster board and a dull side. I prefer the dull side because the markers won’t smear and colored pencils will show up. You’ll understand what I am talking about when you get yours. n I prefer the colored Bic or Sharpie Permanent Markers. They do great on the slick side. If you use colored pencils or the washable kind of markers, you will need to use the dull side.

+ Tape or tie up the sides. n Ignore the handle. We are just

+ Put Your Name On It! n Now you will incorporate your name into
