The Arameans Seek Elisha 2 Kings 6: 8 -23

So he said, “Go and see where he is, that I may send and take him. ” And it was told him, saying, “Behold, he is in Dothan. ” 2 Kings 6: 13

Then Elisha prayed and said, “O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see. ” And the LORD opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 2 Kings 6: 17

When they came down to him, Elisha prayed to the LORD and said, “Strike this people with blindness, I pray. ” So He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha. 2 Kings 6: 18

When they had come into Samaria, Elisha said, “O LORD, open the eyes of these men, that they may see. ” So the LORD opened their eyes and they saw; and behold, they were in the midst of Samaria. 2 Kings 6: 20

Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us? ” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” He said, “Go, and tell this people: ‘Keep on listening, but do not perceive; Keep on looking, but do not understand. ’ “Render the hearts of this people insensitive, Their ears dull, And their eyes dim, Otherwise they might see with their eyes, Hear with their ears, Understand with their hearts, And return and be healed. ”

And the LORD opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 2 Kings 6: 17 b. As they were going along and talking, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire and horses of fire which separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind to heaven. 2 Kings 2: 11.
