There is a slide for each part of speech that includes a definition, example and video about that particular part of speech. The definitions and examples have been taken from resources online. Nouns A noun is a person, a place, or a thing. Ex. Jimmy read a book in the park. Jimmy is a noun because it is a person’s name. Book is a noun because it is a thing.
