Positive Behavior Matrix • Our new school-wide Positive Behavior Plan • Focuses on positive behaviors that are taught to students • Students are retaught behaviors when they fail to demonstrate expected positive behavior • As a parent here is one area that directly impacts you.

K Shark Slip • This slip is replacing the old Shark Pride • Reinforcing our goal to become Ambassadors of Kindness • Purpose: recognize and reinforce positive behavior on campus • Students will retain a copy, a copy will go to the office for weekly drawing, one copy will go to classroom teacher • Students will still be recognized in weekly drawings

Behavior Referral Slip • This slip will be given when a student does not meet the behavior expectations on campus • The student must take the slip home and have it signed by a parent • The slip must be returned the following school day to the student’s teacher
