READING IS DETECTIVE WORK • Good readers use specific evidence to support claims made about texts.

CITING TEXT EVIDENCE-RULES You need to specifically cite your evidence using some rules. LOCATION • You need to say the exact paragraph or page number you found your evidence in/on. • You should say who the author is.
