Shutdown work • No Fundamental Changes • Vacuum repair work • Replaced failing power lead can at E 35 • Routine alignment work

Before Beam is Available • Condition Separators • Ramp and Squeeze to verify all repairs (980 Ge. V only? ) • Establish startup DFG file • Test new AC power supply for D 0 Low Beta Quad alignment study • Test new aggregate (if ready) to allow quick turn off for experimental access • TEL startup and studies

Startup outline 1) Establish circulating beam and smooth injection orbit. Set tunes coupling and chromaticity (aperture scans? ) 2) Ramp – Smooth all energy slots – Set Flattop tunes, chromaticity and coupling. Squeeze – Smooth all slots – Set Low Beta tunes, chromaticity and coupling. 3) Go through full cycle on central orbit to record data. Go through full cycle(s) on helix to smooth orbits to nominal files 4) Make Lattice Measurements (Injection, Flattop, Low Beta) 5) Adjust tunes and coupling on ramp. 6) Continue above plus make ramp chromaticity measurement 7) Implement any Lattice changes 8) Parse squeeze 9) Lifetime measurement (Uncoalesced centered orbit at low beta) 10)Pbar only store for helix closure and lattice measurements – Reverse inj 11)Beam based alignment measurements 12)13 X 0 including scrape – Clean up on unfinished business.

Start up Shifts • Two man crews (Plus extras? ) • Schedule for 1 week • Move to on call rotation as soon as we get HEP running • Start 2 hours earlier than operator shifts? • 7 Tev group members that run shifts (Alex will be needed for offline work as well).
