Options

Start by connecting Three options • Power. Pivot Model (Only from Excel) • PBI/SSDT (powerbi desktop file or Open visual studio project) • Tabular Server (Analysis server /Azure Analysis server og Power BI dataset using the XMLS endpoint) Take notice of the advanced options especially if you have translations in your model

Other nice things to know • CTRL + SHIFT + N – creates a new query • By default queries are run against the cache – be sure to clear it if you really want to measure the performance �� • When you copy queries from Power BI desktop performance analyzer it uses , (comma) as separator
