Test Taking Tip #1 • Preview the test section before starting.

Test Taking Tip #2 • Read all directions, then reread the directions. When taking the test, re-read difficult questions.

Test Taking Tip #14 • Be careful with question options that have absolute words such as: always, never, every and only. Also be careful when they contain words such as: not, but, or except.

Test Taking Tip #16 • When reading a passage or word problem, re-read it if you cannot remember the answer. Do not rely on your memory from the first time you read it.
