Mostly the word “TEST” is defined as a series of questions on the basis of which some information is sought. But in psychology the meaning of Test is more than this. Anne Anastasi has defined psychological test as “essentially an objective and standardized measure of sample of behaviour”

When one sets out to construct a test , there are several considerations that will determine one’s approach and operations.

The number of items/length of a test depends on the previous planning that how much items we need to cover the domain under study. The number of items should be two times than the items required for the original test.

So that he able to write good and appropriate items. v The item writer must be fully aware of those person for whom the test is meant. He must be aware of intelligence level of those persons so that he may manipulate the difficulty level of the items.
