Nikola Tesla • He was a Serbian-American inventor • He died alone and broke because of Edison’s greed whom on the other hand died very wealthy and with a great self-esteem • Invented the fluoroscope which Edison took credit for • Tesla fixed Edison’s DC motor which he didn’t get paid for • Tesla created early radar technology which was laughed off • He created AC power which Edison used AC current to kill a man to attempt to prove Tesla wrong. • Tesla started working for Edison after immigrating to America, he began work at the Edison Machine Works on the 8 th June 1884. Tesla left after six months and joined a group of investors to establish a company to market his arc light.

Mesozoic Era • Three time periods: Triassic Period, Jurassic Period and finally the Cretaceous Period. The Jurassic period is the most well known time period after it’s popularity from the film’s Jurassic Park. This Jurassic period was the second segment of the Mesozoic era and ranged from 199. 6 million to 145. 5 million years ago. • Firstly the supercontinent of Pangaea split apart which started a generally warmer global climate which also allowed for diversification with dinosaurs. Additionally during this period living things had evolved to living on land as appose to being confined to the oceans.

Synopsis • Elon Musk, after being heavily influenced by Nikola Tesla, sends one of his Tesla cars back in time to the year 1900 to Nikola. The purpose being, so that Tesla can see the influence that his great inventions had on people such as Elon. • However following the feud between Edison and Tesla during their early years, Edison seeks revenge by tampering with his the Tesla car that was sent by Elon, the sabotage began when Edison set the time coordinates to the Mesozoic era as appose to present day. • Upon the arrival of Tesla to his new car Edison hides in the back to avoid detection, subsequently they were both sent back to the Mesozoic era. • They both wake up beside one another to Tesla’s amaze Edison attempts to make an excuse to explain why they are here, after explaining the predicament they start to work together to find the Tesla car. • After hours of searching they spot the front of the car towards the top of a humungous tree, the objective is then clear they need to climb the tree in order to retrieve the car. • Elon Musk realises that something went wrong after waiting for the arrival of Tesla but he didn’t show. Therefore he checks the location of the Tesla car with his time tracker and notices that it is in the Mesozoic Era, after hearing this he takes the prototype tesla car and traces him.

Problems • Problems that occurred outside of planning was that Joe was absent for Monday’s sessions which limited the work that we did. This was tough as Joe created the foundations to the story. • Another problem that we encountered was finding a way to get Edison into the Mesozoic era with Tesla. • Also we had problems picking the period to use in the Mesozoic era.

Solutions • We decided that Edison would jump into the back seat of the tesla car and hide to avoid being seen. • A solution to Joe’s absence is that we did as much work as we could. • We decided on using the Jurassic era as it was the most well known period which we felt would attract more people.
