It acknowledges her commitment to the mission of the School as well as her contribution to thein profession of social n Eligibility: MSW student good standing who willwork. be enrolled in TXST SSW during academic year 2016 -17. n Award: One $1500 scholarship for the 2016 -17 academic year n Selection Criteria: § ¨ Demonstrated academic merit as shown by graduate and/or undergraduate GPA of 3. 0 (verified by official transcript) ¨ Commitment to the mission of the School of Social Work as evident by a resume indicating past and/or present service to the public sector (Note: the Mission Statement is available on the School’s website) ¨ Commitment to the mission of the School as expressed in clearly articulated professional goals ¨ Essay indicating commitment to public sector professional practice (not to exceed three double-spaced pages) Application and submission: Submit application electronically to Ms. Hortencia Garza hh 11@txstate. edu no later than Tuesday, May 31, 2016 by 5: 00 pm.
