Resolution • Image resolution is the quality a picture holds when zoomed in or out. This term will apply towards film images, digital images and any other form of image that has been invented. The higher the resolution is, the better the quality and the lower the resolution the quality gets worse.

Thumbnail • Thumbnails are reduced image sizes for recognition of what you could expect from a certain video. Another reason thumbnails are invented is because it helps you to recognize and organize certain things. Thumbnails can be used in many different scenarios one of which is youtube.

JPEG • Jpeg is a type of file type that if used it should perform having “lossy compression” in a file mostly for digital images. The term lossy compression means that it will keep the quality of the image and not reduce the file size or even up it. The quality should be exactly the same as when it was taken.

PNG • The PNG file type helps out and supports the lossless data compression and for sending digital images through mail and other platforms, so when sending files the data and quality of the file sent should be perfect and exactly the same as when it was on your computer.

Hashtag A hashtag is mostly or only used on social media apps and websites. This basically is a word or phrase that is written besides a #. This means that the image would have a way to be compressed, there are two different ways this can be achieved one of which is reducing the image size and the other being lowering the quality. This can be done in different ways but there is no exact way.
