Description of Tera III n. Takes about maximum 30 minutes to administer n. Identify children who are significantly below their peers in the area of reading development (provide intervention) n. Identify strengths and weaknesses n. Documenting children’s progress as a sequence of early reading intervention program

Reliability and validity We feel that: -other assessment methods should also be employed to ensure reliability and validity of the test results Educators should not go directly from reviewing the test results to develop lesson plan. The test results only served as a guide to areas that should be further explore.
Reliability and validity It is only reliable and vaild to a certain extent because: -the test is not recommended for children at the lower and extreme upper levels -It varies on individual’s prior knowledge on the questions -The reliability lies on the examiner. For e. g. , the consistency of the examiner and whether the instructions given to the children is clear
Age Group Age group: 3 years and 6 months to 8 years and 6 months
Norms n. Starting off by using a sample of students who serve as a local norm group is selected n. This test is administered to the selected students n. The result scores are then gathered analyzed to the types of standard scores desired.
Norms- continue n. As tests scores accumulate over time, local norms should be revised to incorporate the most recent data.
