Template for the ACU Undergraduate Research Festival Posters Author, Author Template: This is just meant to be something to get you started. The slide is set to the correct size (32” high, 40” wide) for printing. Font: You want a large font for your title. For the text of your poster, you should not go below 16 or so. The font on this template is quite large (60 pt) so that you don’t have to zoom in to read it. Change the font, font size and font color on the Home Tab. Insert Text boxes: Click the insert tab then text box to, well, insert a new text box. Figures: You can use the Insert tab to Insert Pictures, Charts (graphs) and Tables. OR You can often just copy and paste your picture, table, or graphs into your poster. Color: To change the colors of the slide go to the Design tab. You can choose a theme, or choose colors, effects, or background styles to change the poster from this boring white. Be sure you can actually read the font against the color you have chosen. Because Proofread: Be sure to proofread of the large volume of posters that your poster and have someone else will be printed, please have proofread it also. You can print it your poster to ACU Copycat by to a single sheet of paper, but it 5 p. m. , March 21 st. takes good eyesight and or a magnifying glass to read it.
