THE PURPOSE OF TV v The purpose of television is to show creativity, imagination and engage ads, inspire, excitement and generate brand royalty, and to generate information.

INVENTOR v. The inventor of television was Philo Farnsworth. v. Philo Farnsworth invented the television on September 7, 1927.

HOW THE TV IS USED v The television was used the same in 1927 as it is now. v It was created to entertain and teach people things.

INNOVATIONS v They’ve added color (used to be black and white) v They’ve added sound (used to be silent) v They’ve went from having boxes attached to flat screens v They’ve added dvd players and game systems ( Wii x boxes etc. . ) v

POSITIVE/NEGATIVE v The tv has impacted society in a positive way by giving entertainment with fun and learning. And gives lots of information. v It has impacted society in a negative way because all kids want to sit in front of the tv watching there favorite tv shows rather than playing outside. v Plus it will make your bills go up.

ENGINEERS v The engineers designed a device to show entertainment and learning. v The engineers who designed the tv were the electrical, mechanical, and chemical engineers.
