Social, Legal, and Ethical Issues One of the social issues that is a concern in the use of technology is cyberbullying. Legal issues include inappropriate use with copyrights and plagiarism. Ethical issues include ensuring equal access to media and technologies among the digital divide and enforcing an acceptable use policy.

Social Issues Social issues include students using the internet to bring intentional or unintentional

Social Issues Social issues include students using the internet to bring intentional or unintentional harm to another individual. This is most often done on social networking sites or by the use of messaging. Social issues are also of concern in the regards to the amount of time students spend having a physical conversation versus having conversations with an individual in another location.

Ensuring Equal Access It is important that educators provide equal access to the media and technology. Some students may have access to technology at home, whereas others do not. Each student shall receive equal opportunities to learn while accessing technology.
