TECHNOLOG Y TRENDS 2020 ROBOTICS
What is it? Robotics is mechanical engineering combined with artificial intelligence (AI). AI is the imitation of human processes using computer systems. A simple example of AI is Alexa, which is coded to replicate human thought & speech skills. When Robotics and AI work together, AI is the brain and Robotics is the body. Robotics is an advanced area of Technology that is developing at a fast pace. Era of Artificial Intelligence #ROBOTICS
Atlas Designed by Boston Dynamics, Atlas has a four -limbed, bipedal frame similar to that of a human body. The most dynamic humanoid Atlas demonstrates exceptional mobility. He can jump, run, do backflips, catch objects and recover after being shoved. You. Tube videos show the robot navigating a full obstacle course and responding to human attacks with fast reaction speeds. #ROBOTICS
Origami Robot Gripper This robot gripper has been designed to help people pack their shopping in supermarkets. It features a vacuum that collapses a 3 D printed origami gripper, which then closes around the object. It can adapt to the shape of whatever it picks up. The device can lift up to 100 times its own weight at a steady pace. Will they be in supermarkets soon? 3 D printed parts #ROBOTICS
