Design Presentation � Your presentations of your design for your group’s one act play

Design Presentation � Your presentations of your design for your group’s one act play must include the following. 1. How will the support the story and theme(s) of the play? Scenic Design (set design): What are you building on stage? How will the set help tell the story of the play? Lighting Design: How do you plan to use lighting in the play to support the story and thematic content? Sound Design: How do you plan to use sound to support the story and thematic content of your production? Play us a sample of the music you plan to use. If you have a great sound effect, play that too. Costume Design: How will you costume at least 3 of your characters? Why? How will their costumes support the content of your play?

Final Notes � Your presentation will be at least 8 slides long, but can be more. � Include pictures wherever you can and design your powerpoint to help express your design inspirations and ideas more clearly. � EVERY GROUP MEMBER must be involved in the presentation to the class. Nobody gets to sit quietly watching the rest of their group do all the work! � Your presentation will be probably be 8 -10 -12 minutes long. That’s only about 1 -2 minutes per slide. � You may arrange the slides in your presentation however you like. They don’t have to be in the order that I’ve put them in here. � You have today to work on the presentation and tomorrow to practice the presentation so that you’re ready to go on Thursday and Friday.
